The Blue Shutters Inn consists of a side entrance New England Guest House with seven quaint guest rooms, and a Carriage House with six colonial style appointed rooms. We are situated on a quiet side street on the ocean side of Shore Road with the renowned Marginal Way abutting our property. We are centrally located to all of the attractions in Ogunquit and just steps to the Atlantic Ocean, trolley stop, the famous Ogunquit Playhouse, Perkins Cove and the artistic Ogunquit Village.
Our Guest House rooms are furnished with a queen bed, private bathroom, working fireplace, telephone, central air conditioning, CD player/alarm clock and hair dryer.
Our Carriage House rooms are furnished with a four poster queen bed, a full size sofa bed, private bathroom, kitchen with dinette, color cable television, telephone, air conditioning, CD player/alarm clock and hair dryer. Each room has a door opening to a deck.
Included with each overnight stay, we offer daily maid service and a hearty buffet breakfast. Wake up to the aroma of fresh scrambled eggs, baked ham or breakfast sausage cooked in pure Vermont maple syrup. Our breakfast also includes muffins, assorted sweet breads, whole and sliced fresh seasonal fruit, select cereals, freshly brewed New England Coffee, herbal teas, orange juice, milk and ice water.
And, exclusively for guests staying at The Blue Shutters Inn, we offer a delectable dinner menu that includes Fresh Maine Lobster directly from the fishermen in Perkins Cove. We also feature a notable wine list at popular prices. Enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and the warmth of the fireplace when dining with us for breakfast or dinner. We are open all year. |

RESERVATIONS/DEPOSITS: A one-night deposit or 50% of the stay, (whichever is greater) is required to reserve a room. Once a reservation is made, and a deposit is remitted, the balance will due upon arrival.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations are simply defined as date changes, cancelled dates or cancelled reservations once a deposit has been remitted. No refunds for cancellations made upon arrival. No refunds for early departures. If cancellations are made within 21 days of arrival, deposits will be forfeited. For cancellations made 21 days of arrival or prior to 21 days of arrival, deposits will be refunded less a $35.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations due to unfavorable or severe weather conditions, policies apply as listed above.
ARRIVAL/ DEPARTURE: 2:00PM - 5:00PM, Check-in. Special arrangements should be made for arrivals after 5:00PM. 11:00AM Check-out. One parking space per room. Guests are expected to depart with their belongings and vehicle.
RATES FOR EXTRA GUESTS: Guests four years of age or older are $25.00 additional per night.
NO SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is only allowed outside. Smoking or creating smoke is not permitted in any of the rooms in the Guest House, the Carriage House, or in common indoor areas in the Guest House. Guests who smoke or create smoke inside the aforementioned areas will be in violation of this policy, will be asked to leave without a refund, and will be charged a $150.00 cleaning fee.
